The Jamaica Cancer Society (JCS) stands as a beacon of hope and strength in the nation’s ongoing fight against cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness Month

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the mission of the Jamaica Cancer Society takes on an even greater sense of urgency and visibility. Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths among Jamaican women. Early detection saves lives, and JCS is committed to making that a reality for every woman across the island.

Through nationwide outreach and screening initiatives, the Society brings critical services directly to communities. The JCS Mobile Screening Units travel to urban and rural areas alike, offering clinical breast examinations, mammograms, and Pap smears to women who might otherwise not have access to such services.
